CSC Indian Pastors’ and JPIC Conference
The CSC Indian Pastors’ and JPIC Conference, hosted by our Province in Agartala from 26 to 29 January, brought together about 40 participants from the four CSC jurisdictions in India for reflection, sharing, and common discernment on ministry priorities and JPIC concerns. The gathering was enriched by the presence of Fr. Emmanuel Kallarackal, Vicar and Chair of the Mission, Justice, and Peace Commission, whose opening input set the tone for the days ahead. Sessions were led by Bishop Stephen Fernandes, Auxiliary Bishop of Mumbai; Fr. Stanislaus, Rector of Oriens Theological College, Shillong; and Fr. Roy Thomas, SVD, Executive Secretary of JPIC, Rome. Their insights, along with reports and sharing from each jurisdiction, offered participants a deeper, broader, and more integrated perspective on their mission and JPIC.
